Anthony Willis Senior Economist Anthony is Columbia Threadneedle’s principal economics spokesperson in the UK and, through the conflict in the Middle East, has been video blogging and providing analysis to clients continuously. He joined the firm through the acquisition of BMO GAM (EMEA) in 2021, having previously been with BMO (via Thames River Capital) since 2007. Anthony has worked in the investment industry since 1997, with previous tenures at State Street and Credit Suisse. He graduated with BA (Hons) in Economics & Politics from the University of Exeter.
