Joe joined Columbia Threadneedle’s Responsible Investment team in 2021 as an environmental specialist and is the team’s Biodiversity Lead. He coordinates our engagement on biodiversity and deforestation and directs our biodiversity data endeavours.  Prior to joining Columbia Threadneedle, Joe worked for PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change consulting team supporting corporates and financial institutions on biodiversity, net zero and climate risk strategies. He has also previously worked as an ecologist evaluating the impacts of major infrastructure projects on biodiversity and designing biodiversity net gain strategies.  He holds an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford, and a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
